Mars bar & marshmallow slice

It's a win-win for this slice with chocolate, marshmallow and rice crispy flavours the kids will love and a ten minute cooking time that you will absolutely love.


Mars bar & marshmallow slice

  • 4 (240g) mars bars or milky way bars, roughly chopped
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 cups rice bubbles / rice krispies
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • sprinkles to decorate


Mars bar & marshmallow slice

  1. Line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper. Place the Mars bars and butter in a small saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring constantly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rice bubbles and marshmallows then add melted chocolate mix. Stir quickly to coat the dry ingredients with the chocolate but don't over-mix as the marshmallows will melt slightly due to the heat of the chocolate.
  3. Spread over the base of the cake tin, then scatter coloured sprinkles over the top. Place in the fridge to set. Once set, cut the slice into squares.
