Zara Phillips’ emotional Olympic debut

Zara Phillips couldn’t keep the emotion from her face when she finally made her Olympic debut on July 29.

The Queen’s granddaughter grinned throughout her dressage test and shed a few tears as she left the arena aboard her horse High Kingdom.

Zara has been one of Britain’s best equestriennes for years, but missed the 2004 and 2008 Games when her champion horse Toytown was injured.

She is thrilled to be competing at last, and is now one of the favourites for an individual medal in the three-day eventing. Good luck Zara!
