Are you aged between 18 and 29 and wanting to make a difference in your community? HM The Queen, through her grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry, is looking to discover extraordinary young people to receive royal awards and grants, individuals with vision and purpose.

You have until October 10th to nominate yourself or someone you know.  All you need to do is visit www.queensyoungleaders.com and outline what you would like to change in the world and your own community and how this award can help you achieve that.

At the launch at Buckingham Palace Prince Harry hung out in a social media hub talking to young people all over the world, including Lockie in Australia. “The young leaders of today have the greatest opportunity of any in our history to reach out across the Commonwealth and affect change on a global scale,” said Prince Harry.

“For many people the community in which they live is their world – we must start there in supporting those who will change our community, our Commonwealth and our world.”

Each year from 2014 to 2018, 60 inspirational young leaders (one for every year of HM’s reign) from the Commonwealth will be selected to receive a Queen’s Young Leaders Award. That’s 240 awards up for grabs.

At least one young person from every Commonwealth country will receive a Queen’s Young Leaders Award each year and the more people that enter the greater chance Australia has to win.

Don’t miss out!
