Bring some festive cheer to your home with these unique festive star decorations.
YOU WILL NEED: 10 balsa wood strips or Paddle Pop sticks, wood glue, coloured ribbon, cut greens, such as rosemary, hot glue gun or strong glue.
Cut 10 wood strips in half to create 20 strips of 30cm in length.
Cross two strips together and glue with wood glue. Cross and glue a second pair the same way, then glue the second pair to the first to form a base with 8 spokes. Leave to dry.
To create the star points, arrange a pair of strips into a V shape. Glue star point ends together, then glue the opposite ends to the base tips, alternating the overlapping. Continue gluing the wooden strip points around the base until you have 8 star points.
Cut your greenery into pieces the same lengths as the sections of the wooden strips. Hot glue the cut greenery to the sticks. Leave to dry. Tie coloured ribbon onto dry stars and hang.
