Family man Hugh Jackman has already been named the sexiest man alive once before, and his odds are shortening for being crowned Father of the Year as well.
Following a bizarre attack by an alleged stalker who is said to have previously targeted his children, the Aussie actor has vowed to ‘do anything’ to protect his brood.
Jackman’s morning workout was interrupted two days ago when a deranged woman burst into his New York City gym, making a wailing declaration of love before hurling a dirty razor at him.
Disturbingly, this woman was known to Jackman, having approached the actor at other locations including allegedly appearing outside his seven-year-old daughter’s Manhattan primary school.
The incident has prompted Jackman’s agent to release a statement saying “Mr Jackman will do anything, under the law, to protect his family.”
Shortly after the incident theLes Miserablesstar gave a radio interview and took the high road, saying he was worried for the woman who clearly needed help, and that his primary concern was for his family.
“For me, my main concern is for my family,” he said.
“I just hope the woman gets the help she needs.”
