For Katie Holmes it seems those innocent days on Dawson’s Creek are well behind her.
The actress almost bares all for the August issue of Glamour magazine where she appears topless in a sexy shoot for the glossy, only using her well-toned arms to shield her modesty.
When asked by Glamour about her love life Holmes didn’t let any mention of a secret romance slip, instead she hinted that her priorities have changed since her split with Tom Cruise two years ago.
“I am really focused on motherhood and work right now,” Holmes told Glamour. “Motherhood is the greatest gift.”
The 35-year-old stunner also discussed how having her daughter Suri has changed her life.
“I didn’t know how much love I had in me. It’s overwhelming. Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of,” said Holmes.
Holmes also told the mag her family has been a “grounding force” amidst the hustle and bustle of a fast celebrity lifestyle.
“[My] family has been so crucial to my outlook on life,” she said. I started acting at 17 and had success at an early age, where all of a sudden people knew who I was. But my parents always treated me the exact same way at home and reminded me of gratitude.”
While a divorce might have thrown a spanner in Katie Holmes’ hopes for a happy family, it seems the single mum has taken it all in her stride and is often seen spending one-on-one time with her daughter.

Katie also told Glamour about what it was like working with her hero, Meryl Streep in The Giver: “Being in a movie with Meryl Streep was a huge dream come true. When the cameras rolled, she was spot-on and such a pro. It was just a thrill to walk on set with her.” PHOTO: Glamour/TOM MUNRO
Despite her parents split Suri seems to love spending so much one-on-one time with her mother.
Katie’s mother joined her and Suri for a trip to the zoo in 2012, not long after announcing her split from Tom.
“Motherhood is the greatest gift,” Katie told Glamour.
