The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and little Prince George are going on a long and overdue royal holiday!
According to royal sources at Vanity Fair, Prince William and Kate have had their schedules cleared in August so the can choof off on a mini-break to Scotland.
According to sources the Cambridge’s will be using the vacation as an excuse to spend quality time with Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla at their Highland home.
Of course there is suggestion the royal pair will also make a pit stop in Norfolk, England to check up on the progress of the renovations at their 10 bedroom country home, Anmer Hall, which has been undergoing a major facelift for over a year.
According to Vanity Fair’s source, Kate and William “cannot wait to move in and they want to make sure the last stages of the refurb go to plan”.
It will be a case of déjà vu for Kate and Wills who recently got back from visiting their neighbours in the north for the Commonwealth Games.
A few Aussie athletes were lucky enough to meet and greet the royal couple in Glasgow as the sporty royals cheered on athletes from the sidelines.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were all smiles as they watched Scotland play Wales at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre.
The royal couple were also joined by Prince Harry.
The eyes of the avid sports fans were firmly fixated on the game. Kate was captured wincing and blocking her face.
Kate wore one of her Zara navy blazer and skinny jeans, along with her much-loved wedges.
