Jennifer Aniston: ‘I haven’t failed as a woman by not having kids’

The 45-year-old actress has hit back at the constant questioning she is subjected to about her marital and childfree status.
Jennifer Aniston.

In an interview with Carson Daly for the Today Show, the Friends star said: “I don’t have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and … if they’re not checked, then I’ve failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman.”

Aniston, 45, who has carved out a successful career in film and is engaged to Justin Theroux, also admitted she didn’t understand why people cared about her personal life.

“I’ve birthed a lot of things, and I feel like I’ve mothered many things,” she said. “And I don’t feel like it’s fair to put that pressure on people.”
