Sophie, Countess of Wessex, turns 50

To celebrate the Countess' milestone birthday we take a look at some of our favourite Sophie moments.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex

Sophie, Countess of Wessex and wife to Prince Edward celebrates her 50th birthday on January 20.

The former public relations executive is a well-respected and much liked member of the Royal Family. The Countess is particularly liked by the Queen who awarded the Countess the Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order medal in 2010, the Queen’s highest seal of approval.

The Countess is a regular on the royal engagements track and impresses with her relaxed charm and light touch. The Countess is also a hard worker, representing Childline, the National Autistic Society and project dedicating to helping rehabilitate female prisoners, as well as as patron of the London College of Fashion.

And at 50, with style to boot, there’s certainly no stopping her! We wish her the happiest of birthdays.
