The cards feature a picture from George’s christening on the front, and a message of thanks inside.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George are so grateful to you for the kind message you sent at Christmas and send you their best wishes for a very Happy New Year,” the note reads.
The card is the first to include George, who was born last July.
George hasn’t been seen in public since his christening on October 23, which in turn was only the third time he had been spotted since his birth.
William and Kate are planning to bring him to Australia in April, and he will likely pose for an official tour portrait ahead of the trip, which may be the first glimpse we get of him in 2014.
