Prince Harry was treated to a tour of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Oman.

It was the prince’s first public visit to a mosque and the end of his three-day tour of the Gulf state. The 30-year-old royal was taken around the mosque by a member of the Diwan Higher Centre for Culture and Science.

The fourth-in-line to the throne, dressed in a suit and tie, repectfully removed his shoes before entering the mosque, adhering to religious custom.

The mosque, which can accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers, was a gift to the people from Oman’s current ruler, Sultan Qaboos bin Said, to mark the 30th year of his reign in 2000.
