The Royal couple began the day before dawn, attending Canberra’s ANZAC dawn service even though it was not part of their official schedule.

Kate and William later attended the ANZAC Day March and Commemorative Service at the Australian War Memorial. Kate wore a custom made hat by Hatmaker Jonathan Howard. It is one of two Australian labels worn throughout the Royal Tour by the Duchess.

Prince William wore two medals awarded for his own service, and both had sprigs of rosemary attached to their coats.
