The royal baby already has a Wikipedia page

The royal baby has already made history, becoming the first person to have a Wikipedia page before their birth.

A page was created earlier this week dedicated to the “Child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”, which it says is due on July 13.

The page on the first child of Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, also mentions the controversial Australian Women’s Weekly shoot that captured former prime minister Julia Gillard knitting a toy kangaroo for the baby.

Excitement is certainly building outside St Mary’s Hospital, where Kate will give birth. Parking has now been suspended outside the hospital for all of July, while the world’s media has begun setting up camp, hoping to capture Catherine’s arrival and the first pictures of the new royal.

In an unexpected move, royal aides have confirmed they will tell the world when Kate goes into labour. Once the child is born, a traditional notice announcing the birth will be posted on an easel outside Buckingham Palace.
