The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at Philip’s birthday celebration wearing her Alexander McQueen Champagne Lace Dress, which we first saw two years ago during the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations in 2012. Crowds were up to 10-deep as they waited to chat with the Duchess who had made an appearance at the Queen’s request.

Just that morning Kate was seen at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich wearing a white Jaeger dress, with black trim detail and a few days ago wore her powder blue Alexander McQueen coat dress that was spotted during the Royal Tour of Australia and New Zealand.

As ever, she matched her pieces with classic high heels and a tiny clutch.

Earlier that morning, Kate attended a breakfast reception at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.

She wore a white Jaeger dress, with black trim detail matched her pieces with classic high heels and a dark clutch.

The Duchess met with crew and boat designers seeking to enter a British team in the 2017 sailing competition.

We love how she dressed in a black-and-white nautical theme, matching her surroundings.

On June 6, Kate attended a D-Day ceremony with Prince William, where she wore a powder blue Alexander McQueen coat dress.

Her hair was pinned back under an elegant black hat.

Kate previously wore her garden party dress to the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations in 2012.

The dress features an ivory lining with a champagne lace overlay, has an elegant boat neckline and is finished with a removable tonal satin belt at the waist.

Fashion writers have said that the hat she paired with it more recently is a better match.

Recycling outfits is one way the Royal family demonstrates a modern pragmatism.

The coat retails for £2,345.
