Luxury brand Oroton has unveiled its Spring/Summer 14-15 campaign starring Aussie actress Rose Byrne.

The brunette beauty has signed on as the brand’s striking new face and features in the upcoming advertising shots captured by exciting photography talent, Boo George.

“Working with Oroton is an absolute honour. I’ve grown up with the brand and it has always had a special place in my heart,” said Byrne of her new role.

“There is no other Australian brand with such an iconic history and distinctive style.”

The actress, who celebrated her 35th birthday in July, is an obvious choice for the luxe label as she has become a bona fide movie star since her breakout role in 1999’s indie flick Two Hands, alongside the late Health Ledger, and rarely puts a foot wrong on the red carpet.

The brand’s creative director, Ana Maria Escobar, expressed her delight about working with Byrne.

“Rose is the perfect fit,” said Escobar.

“She’s effortlessly stylish, feminine, intelligent and a natural beauty. We couldn’t ask for a better match.”

New York based Byrne, who will make her stage debut in the Broadway revival of You Can’t Take It With You, says the partnership made her feel closer to home.

“For me to be the face of Oroton, it feels right – it feels as Australian as I do,” she said.
