Kate Middleton celebrates her 33rd birthday

Pregnant Kate Middleton won’t be having a giant party to celebrate her 33rd birthday instead she will reportedly be spending it with Prince William, Prince George and her close family and friends.

As the Duchess of Cambridge turns another year older, she is said to be spending the day privately with husband Prince William and son Prince George at their newly renovated country home, Anmer Hall, a palace source reveals to People magazine.

Last year she also had a small, low-key family celebration at home in the company of her loved ones.

One gift that the mother-to-be is set to receive is a rather classy emerald green coat courtesy of PETA, who, according to a statement from the group, wanted to give her something “that’s equal parts chic and animal-friendly”.

The faux wool number, which retails at $360, is being sent by the organisation all the way from New York from vegan boutique, VauteCouture

PETA UK founder Ingrid E Newkirk said: “Fashion is about more than looking good – it’s also a statement about who you are and what you stand for.”

“By wearing her new vegan coat, the duchess will be setting a great example and sending British women the message that they can have top-notch style without hurting animals.”

No doubt husband Prince William will also be spoiling his wife on her special day.

Earlier this week Clarence House confirmed Kate will attend two public engagements this month, on the 15th and 16th.

While we can’t wait to spy what the Duchess wears to her next official outing we reflect on some of her best looks of the last few months.
